U-AGREE showcased at Airspace World 2025: A successful SESAR Walking Tour

On Wednesday, 14 May, the U-AGREE project took the stage at Airspace World 2025 in Lisbon as part of the SESAR Walking Tour: “Paving the Way for Integrated Drone Operations in Europe.”

During the tour stop at the Collins Aerospace booth (H1540), attendees explored how U-AGREE is paving the way for the safe and seamless integration of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into European airspace. The presentation by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) highlighted the project’s mission and its role in advancing U-space risk modelling.

U-AGREE aims to deliver several key outcomes, including:

  • A validated integrated risk model for UAS operations

  • Amendments to current methodologies enabling quantitative risk estimation

  • Recommendations for incorporating U-space services as mitigation measures in risk assessments

  • Tools and guidelines to support faster operational approvals and the development of economically sustainable U-space business models

A big thank you to everyone who joined the SESAR Walking Tour and showed interest in U-AGREE. Your engagement supports the ongoing effort to build a safer and more efficient future for drone operations in Europe.
