The UPV Hosts the EUROCAE WG-105 UAS Plenary Meeting #16 in Valencia
On May 20–21, 2025, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) had the honour of hosting the 16th Plenary Meeting of EUROCAE Working Group 105 on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (WG-105), one of the key international forums for the development of technical standards in the UAS domain.
The event brought together nearly 40 participants from across the globe, including representatives from all major stakeholder groups: UAS manufacturers, U-space service providers (USSPs), regulators, standardisation bodies, research institutions, and academia.
Throughout the two-day meeting, the different Subgroups of WG-105 presented the status of their ongoing work and exchanged feedback to ensure alignment across parallel developments. The sessions facilitated in-depth discussions on the future of UAS integration into airspace, fostering collaboration among international experts committed to advancing harmonised and reliable standards.
The SNA Lab is proud to have contributed to the success of this important gathering, which reinforces its commitment to supporting innovation and safety in the evolving field of unmanned aviation.
We thank all participants for their engagement and look forward to continuing the joint efforts within EUROCAE WG-105.
